Learning DCC --The DCC Guide
Posted by acpardo on Monday, October 15, 2007 10:21 AM

I just finished the reading of Don Fiehmann Book ,The DCC GUIDE, and personally thinks that is a good book to read and show to the friends that are not convinced to join the DCC bandwagon

Guess is a must have....

Lots of explanations, basic and no so, equipment selection and other stuff...

Adrian,

I also enjoyed Lionel Strang's DCC Made Easy (Kalmbach Publishing).  Tony's Train Exchange has a good primer on their web site called DCC For Beginners, which is also very informative.  You can either read it online or download it onto your computer as a .pdf file.

I second Tom's suggestion on Tony's Trains site.  Dec 2005 issue of MR had a decnet article on DCC for beginners.  And, check out Allan Gartner's Wiring for DCC web site.
