locomotive dimensions

does anybody know if i can fit a bachmann b-23 shell will fit on a bachmann dash 8-40cw frame?

Not unless you cut it in half and add an inch or so. The Dash is a long 6 axle and the B is a shorter 4 axle. But hey! Where there's a will, there's a way!
