Chase Gunnoe is a freelance photographer and writer from Nitro, West Virginia; a small community situated 8 miles northwest of West Virginia's capitol city. Gunnoe is a sophomore student at the University of Charleston, pursuing a BA Degree in Integrated Communications with specific studies in Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, and Communications.
Gunnoe became a freelance Correspondent for Trains Magazine in May 2015 and enjoys writing about Class I railroading, Preservation, Technology, Regulation, and more. Gunnoe also coordinates several photo excursions and workshops throughout the year that feature first generation diesels and authentic freight trains on West Virginia's unique tourist and short line railroads.
When not taking photos, Gunnoe enjoy traveling, the outdoors, and spending quality time with girlfriend (and photographer) McKenzie Greer in their hometown city of Charleston.
