The Seaboard Central Lives Again!

It's 1985, and we're not far from Southern Pines, North Carolina, where the Seaboard Central ("SC") crosses the Seaboard System ("SBD"). The SBD's track is former Seaboard Air Line, now known as the S-Line. We've gotten lucky on this beautiful spring morning, by catching a meet of a southbound SBD freight and the SC's local. The SBD power is the former Seaboard Coast Line SD45 No. 2028 and SBD's brand new SD50 No. 8621. The SC is using its recently acquired (and only patched) former Burlington Northern GP9 No. 1700.
