SFMR PCC No. 1040 rolls past the famous Fisherman's Wharf ship's wheel sign at the intersection of Jefferson and Taylor Streets, San Francisco, CA on 9/26/2019. Built and delivered in 1952, 1040 is the very last of almost 5,000 PCC street cars built in North America. It is unique in having worked its entire life in San Francisco.
