Marina on the Redland Railroad (HO Scale)

When we moved Dad's layout to my house, there was plenty of opportunity for new scenic elements. I came up with the idea of filling in part of a walkway to create a harbor. On one side of the harbor would be the Baltimore Domino Sugars plant and wharf with one of the two dock cranes. The other side would have a marina that had the feel of the Outer Banks. As is my usual, I overdid the weathering on the buildings, but in my head I see them baking in the Carolina sun and salt air for years. There is a sailboat ashore in a cradle - my dad was a lifelong sailing enthusiast. His first car, and the one he took my mom out in on their first date, was a yellow 1953 MG. I was able to find a green MG, so I took it apart and resprayed it yellow. Now it sits next to the sailboat. The fishing boat came off my 3D printer as a cabin cruiser, and I added styrene rods for the tuna tower and outriggers. Many more details to come. I have a life ring in my paint booth, as well as an "in the water" sloop. Still sourcing hoses and a fisherman to stand on the rocks. I have some power poles and lines to add in, but I'll wait until the cat is done chewing on such things.
