CNJ 840

This is a scratchbuilt model in HO scale. Only the drivers, steam chest, and small details are commercial items. The cab is completely detailed. I even turned the domes and stack. The coreless can motor is completely hidden in the firebox. The prototype was built by Baldwin and was used by the Central Railroad of New Jersey at the Bronx Terminal until smoke ordinances outlawed its use. It ended its useful life as the round house switcher in Communipaw.
