This is my HO scale “Oil Pump” scene on my workbench before being installed on my layout. The plastic pump frame and horse are painted with real iron pigment paint. This is real metal rust. The pump platform and drive is airbrushed and weathered with oil paints and powders. The fence is hand soldered brass rod then “blackened” with acid and weathered with oil paint.
