Modeled the Platte River using cork to suggest its muddy sandy bottom, painted lighter colors sky blue, yellow and brown to suggest the generally shallow silty nature of the river, added Woodland Scenics realistic water and a few canoes, boat dock, fishermen, and ducks to further suggest river movement as well as typical riverside details.
