Autumn Morning in Vermont

The early morning  mist is still hanging in the mountains and the dew is still on the pumpkins as a Rutland local in the charge of RS-1 405 blows for a rural Vermont crossing.  It is 1952 and the demise of the Rutland is still several years away.
