Operating Coal Tipple on the Michiana Southern RR

I thought I'd share a picture of the scratchbuilt tipple on my 15x17 All Lionel [except for the little Bachmann On30 train running thru the tipple] railroad. The tipple is made from a basswood structure and the "skin' is black foamcore covered with styrene corrugated siding. The windows are all Tichy Train Group Products and Plastruct. The lighting is mostly from Evans Designs along with some Lionel yard lights that I've modified to act as spotlights. There are spot lights and red warning lights above the cars being loaded during operation. Coal is loaded by a scratch built auger mechamism, and is operated from a push button switch at the edge of the layout. It took me 5 months of trial and error to build this, especially the auger mechanism. ;0)
