This picture was taken from what I call, "the crows nest" You climb a short ladder onto a bench seat. In the early days of the club it was where you ran the trains. The layout is still DC. They do have hand sets now, but still run the layout with block tracks.... over 300 feet of track. The center mountain is a helix that takes the trains up to three different levels.
