Hey everyone, Been very busy here. Father's Day was again a success for us here. We set up our annual display at out church. No room for parking the semi trailer this year but we were blessed with an awesome garden area to set up in. My son David and I arrived at 6:00 AM Sunday morning and by 8:00 the first train was running. This year my Shay saw duty hauling logs once again, and a Canadian National Pacific handled the freight. Two loops of track along with a few small scenes rounded out the garden area very nicely. Many people were once again exposed to our great hobby keeping Naomi and I answering endless questions. The weather was perfect even though at about 8:00 AM a nasty storm missed us by about a mile or so. After that it was sunshine and train time. We ran until 2:30 that day and packed it all up a short time later. Not sure where we will set up next year so we will have to wait and see. I unfortuneately cannot post any pics so I sent some to Carpenter Matt. Hopefully he will have time to post them here for me. Hope all you Dads out there had an awesome Father's Day too!
