Hello Again, Now that my caboose is finished, it's time to start on my next project. [:D]This one will be a Diner Car. It started its life as a Bachmann passenger kit that someone chopped up for a project that never got finished and ended up on eBay. The exterior is complete but the interior was chopped, so I got busy on a new interior.

For the floor I used some scrap vinyl siding from an old home project. The color and molded in wood grain suit my needs and it is easy to work with. The heat stove was replaced with a cooking stove and several tables and chairs added. The furnishings are 1/24 scale doll house items. Not quite perfect for the 1/20.3 Bachmann but they fit inside well.

Here is the new interior on the chassis.

The weather is not good for painting today, so the final assembly and decals will have to wait. These last 2 photos show the unpainted body set in place to check fit and clearances. More photos coming as soon as the weather cooperates.
