We were talking about a "Harry Potter type viaduct and a similar medieval castle.

Well I have actually done something about it I now have a viaduct 4 m long (13') with 14 spans and it will probably end up with 16 spans. It is 450 mm high (18"). My big Mallet and its corresponding coaches look absolutely fabulous on it.

As well I have the plans to build a medieval castle which will be at the southern end of my area 3 and a gate keepers cottage, which will be at the northern end. All have been made out of Jigstones which means the construction material is a special concrete (cement).

I have done the assembly but my wife Doreen has done a tremendous job of mixing the concrete and pouring it into moulds and then demoulding it. To give you an idea of the magnitude of what she has achieved; each column has 50 blocks and we have 15 columns so 15 X 50 750 and that is only half of it considering the spans themselves and many other things we have made including 2 tunnel portals, and avbout 15 to 20 supporting pylons, all of which are in our area 3.

Regrds Ian
