Just joined the forum here and am a newbie to G Scale trains. Please let me know if there is another one that is better suited to questions concerning both L.G.B. and Bachmann steam locos. I just purchased a L.G.B 2028D. I think I got it at a fair price. I am curious as to the history of this L.G.B model. I gather it is not made any longer? I am curious as to why the top of the smoke stack as a perferated grate (it looks like). Any information about this model would be greatly appreciated. Again, please let me know if there is another forum that would be better suited for questions about G scale steam locos. Thanks timmyd
