Hey that's a great idea incorperating regional stuff into buildings etc. I lived in S. Florida in the 70's and thought you were talking about jalousie windows. Don't know if they're used up there. Glad you put the link in.
I'm not sure how to model Bermuda shutters?

Precision Products has a sheet of standard shutters that could probably adapt -

Other than that, you would have to scratchbuild them from styrene strips or wood or make some via resin casting.

I've noticed that push-out (aka Bermuda) shutters are a popular touch on most buildings down here. I was thinking about adding some to my Aristocraft frieght depot and a few other buildings to give them a bit of southern charm, and cover up some of their shortcomings. How can I go about modeling them?
