I am not so sure mate, i run all my stuff on MTS DCC and the smoke is definitely better but it is still hopeless.I have seen some real decent smoke coming from a roundhouse live steam and i would like something like that to make it worthwhile.However i haven't given up and every steam loco i buy has a smoke generator, whic i use when my grandsons are visiting, as they are energetic enough to keep putting stuff in it for only limited returnRgds ian
