The Sumpter is back in town

The sumpter went for repair a few months ago, just as LGB started drying up! Anyway, Sandy of Scottish Garden Railways managed to source a new gearbox, motor, wheels and a few more essential items and it's now like a new loco - exactly what I was told it was when I bought it on evil bay, mmmm, me thinks not.

Hi Kimbrit, Nice pics glad to hear locs running well.  Its a shame that some ebay sales are not what they seem to be, but the old addage is once bitten twice shy So I take it you will not be going that route again. I always buy new if poss or at a garden meet if I know seller Hope weather stays fine keep them engines running.

I love when you post pics of your railroad.  Very inspiring!!!  The bridge in the first picture answered a question I was trying to negotiate on my own plan for layout.
