Ok mate there is a green sound tender on ebay right now, i'm not sure if it is powered or not.

Rgds ian
The 20301 set may be from the mid 1980s or later, and that means it might have smoke but doubtful if it has sound.

Easy to add both...if you can find the LGB replacement smokestack package (about $28 and ebay is a great place to buy them--search for 'LGB smoke' and you may get lucky today!) The item you need to buy is a "all in one" drop-in smoke stack (that is, generator with metal rod) the old catalog number was 2020/3 I believe but not sure. In any event, ask the seller. You may have to dissassemble the loco to get the wires installed. If you don't want to do it, send the loco to LGBofA. PLEASE NOTE that you must go quite fast around the track to get these things to smoke well!

SOUND OPTIONS....

1) For sound, you have several options. The LGB Green Freight car 41352 plugs right into the back of the loco for chuff chuff. Also very easy to find on Ebay!

2) An LGB sound and power tender. Many to choose from--colors and options. Some come with bell and whistle sounds, be sure you are know what you are getting be fore you buy! I would recommend Paul's Authorized LGB ebay store or similar for something of this nature.

Sometimes you can get really lucky and find a Digital sound & power tender. The Digital version sounds a little more realistic than the older sound tenders. Both will do the job though!

Plus, with a power tender, your little Stainz loco will work overtime! You can plug wires from the lightiing/power sockets of the engine to the tender, and that means if you go very slow speeds your loco will never stall or "jerk" ....sometimes, without a tender behind her, Stainzy likes to shake, rattle and roll!

Cheers!

Tom M.
