DNRR update
Posted by dwbeckett on Thursday, February 22, 2007 12:25 PM

Censored [censored]Someone told the track plan I had a year ago would not work as planed, anouther said add a connection to the proposed logging line. So after trying to fit a 24x24foot of track plan in 21x21feet I have scraped that Plan. The new plan ( in my head ). is progressing well albeit has had major changes to acomidate the younger vistors I have scraped the 7ft high logging line. added a 5.5' x 18' town a pair of 2 track portals, a dubl silp switch with 2-10' diam swtchs for the branch lines, one a basic point to point with a small two track stub yard about 8ft long at one end  and a 45-50ft run up a 3% to the mining complex . the outher a reverse loop that will have about 90ft or so of track going form one town to the next (the size TBD). so far a 20ft run of the 2 track main is nailed down and wired, the two duck under (50 inch's high ) bridge's are built and have been placed ( still removeable ). anougther 14ft of 2 track main line is in place with the dubl slip sw not wired or nail down. I added the 2 10ft diam sw in place of the parrall tracks next to the 19deg crossover. But I'm not shur i will leave it that way. Picture's will follow after my next trip to Reno about 5 Mar. yes the DNRR is indoors and 42 to 60 inchs above the floor, lots of storage. Smile [:)]

Remember that little old lady in the Wendy's commercials about 20 years ago?  She kept saying "Where's the beef?"

I say Where's the pictures?

(Ian:
For all you non Yankees, Wendy's is a hamburger fast food joint here in the U.S.)
