Just this past Saturday I spent a couple of hours in the garage cleaning my loco(s) wheels and all rolling stock. I use a "Q" Tip and some alcohol. I then used a NEW method for cleaning my track. I used a drywall sander with used screen. The track came out real shiny and the Mikado ran very smooth. I'm am planning on attaching the drywall screen to the cleaning block of the Aristo track cleaning car. One pass is all the track needed by hand....and I was using very light pressure at that!

dan
