Large Scale Outdoor model rr 1920-30's pics

These photographs came from an estate from Belleville Ill. area. The engine is lettered FRISCO. In one photo it looks like the back of a roundhouse. Any added info welcomed.

Are they old photographs or new ones made to look old?

I favour the old photo idea because of all the wide open space!
