Fitting DCC to a Bachmann 45 Tonner
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, December 30, 2006 11:14 PM
Hi Everyone, I have put my beliefs to one side and bought a Chinese Bachmann 45 tonner - for a bargain price. I am wanting to install DCC (LGB MTS) into it, but the instructions do not provide clarity regarding the way one goes about installing these. It there anyone out there who has one and has installed DCC into it who can share their experience with me. Many thanks

I`m not sure you can put LGB in a Bachmann unit I would surjest you check with your local dealer.  By trying someting you are not sure about it could prove costly

Thanks guys for your comments The Bachmann is new, from Ebay, from the Favourite Spot. I've installed MTS into other locos, with some great results. The Bachmann booklet simply states pull the thing apart and install the the decoder! - a great help. My web searches were fruitless, so I will probably have to have a go myself, and post the work to my pages.
