Marklin Gauge One track compatability
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, December 18, 2006 7:07 PM

Greetings,  I have a Marklin Gauge One layout under construction and would like to add a 30 degree crossover to it to make it go twice around each time.  I do not have the height needed to go over it with a bridge so a crossing at grade is what I need.  Marklin does not make one like Aristcraft or LGB.  I have way too much work done and money invested to scrap my track.

Does anyone know where to find a crossing like this premade or a company that would custom make it?

Hello John,

The Märklin Spur1 track is Code197, one source in the USA we would try is Old Pullman. While they don't list Code197 (the closest is Code215) they should be able to build one for you e.g. using PECO Code200 rail.

Hope that helps.

Regards
