Posted by John Busby on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 7:40 AM

Hi guys

Any one able to give me a track plan for Wellsworth station on Sodor

Have been able to locate one for Ffarquhar done by the famous reverend and published in Railway Modeler at some stage.

But have been unable to anything that would give me a plan or idea as to what  Wellsworth should be like track wise.

No, dang blast it!  I just spent an hour and a half trying to find an illustration or map of Wellsworth and came up empty.  Just make something up, nobody will know any different.

Hi TJ

I had the same problem however information is slowly filtering through.

It would seem Lionel left quite a bit out of their building pack Big Smile [:D]Like a signal box Loco shed, second platform building.

Wellsworth it would seem is quite a busy station.

Anyone have pictures or dimentions of Hornby Dublo platforms so I can build a G scale version out of acrylic sheet to but the Booking office on apart from the awfull looking building base and bright for children colouring the building is a 1/2 reasonable representation of a UK suburban station building.

I watch Thomas for the scenery, which I find rather nice.

When I was last at Barrow in Furness railway station Virgin Rail had erected a sign:

"Information for Travelers to Sodor please use bus link to other station for connecting trains"
