Mogul on a Mogul
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, October 23, 2006 11:04 PM

Yes it’s TRUE!

A Mogul on a Mogul. I took my challenge build to the Waynesburg, PA Fall harvest festival this past weekend. To take some more pictures for my build. I took along my loco to show the caretaker of the prototype, Jim Weinschenker. Without the CD,s of pictures he’s sent me this build would have taken a lot longer or more likely not as true to the prototype.

Hers’ the Plymouth switcher they use to pull her out of the shed once a year for the festival.

Also stopped by one of the only remaining stations Washington station. Waynesburg was torn down in 1976 I believe. A few stations in between still exist.

Where you see me walking is where two dual gauged tracks use to be for passengers to transfer to the PRR. Walk one block north there’s the B&O station which has been restored by CSX I believe.

This photo shows the two tracks next to the station where I’m walking.

Very nice! BTW, that station building is beautiful! What interesting architecture.

Matt;

I have been to Ohio and it wasn't too bad even in January but i know many people from there move to Florida for the winter i think theycall them Snow Bunnies or something like that.

My Friend live in Lakewood just out of Cleveland and you would hardly believe how i came by them, Nancy was my first wifes childhood penfriend and I scored them in the divorce proceedings.I think they hang a lot at a place called Marblehead these days would that be correct?

This was very early in my travels and i thought Cleveland was the worst place i had ver been with the nicest people; ihavent changed my mind with experience about the people but i have about its degree of worseness, it is now only number 8 on my list now. Top three are Glasgow in Scotland, Jakarta in Indonesia and Zurich in Switzerland.

Marblehead sounds familar.  Cleveland is a sess poolDead [xx(], but then again they are a "Union town"
