Something to Make Painting Easier

I find whenever I spray paint something, it always sticks to the newspaper I put under it. Today I put the model I was painting on a sheet of "Reynolds Release" non-stick aluminum foil. It worked like a charm as the paint didn't stick to it.

Hey there,

Thanks for the tip. I usually like to place the item to be painted on a small block of wood or two. That way the bottom is not touching the paper. Later eh...Brian.

Hi

Another good idea for those times a tin-let of paint is more appropriate for the job.

Is get a bit of 4"X 2"chamfer the edges and bore a suitable hole with a spade bit to 1/2 the depth of the tin-let.

This will stop it moving around and make it harder to spill.

regards John

How about trying something like wax paper or parchment paper as another alternative?
