Vettbass, I'll check the two sites you suggest.... I've always liked the "Lion". It is remarkable just how many "mid" priced loco's there are out there. Mid priced to me would be $600.00 - 1,200 US, offered in gas or meths... It does look like the "Ruby" kit makes sense at this point, it would provide me with a real good look at "Mimi's" construction, also I think some upgrades are in order for both of these engines, better burners, Goodall Valves and if I can find a North American supplier , larger cylanders.... lots of potential. BTW, are you or anybody else familar with the Cheddar "Iver"? The "Sampson" also is being considered strongly. Ah yes, the hunt......
