1st. Annual Thanksgiving Open House !
Posted by bman36 on Friday, September 15, 2006 10:31 AM

Hi everyone,

Greetings from the Great White North. After much discussion with my better half we have decided that we are going to have an open house. The date planned is Sunday October 8th. That same weekend is our Canadian Thanksgiving. The time will be from noon until 5:00 PM weather permitting. Anyone who may be able to attend can email me for directions. We are very excited and hope the event will be fun for all to see. Of course I will have to post some pics when it is all done. For those of you who may not know, we are located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Look forward to seeing you. Later eh...Brian.

Hey Guys,

It would be great to meet with you all. I have been on this forum for a few years now and have got to meet some of you. You never know who may be travelling so I decided to post the open house. The weekend after is our annual train show and flea market. Should be fun. Later eh...Brian.

Hey Brian,

Sounds like a great way to spend an afternoon. As I am in the same province, I'd like to obtain directions so that the family can check things out at your open house. Also, we'd like more details on the annual train show and flea market.

I hope that the weather permits. The recent rains have made working on the layout difficult. The lack of evening sunlight doesn't help matters, either. Once some extra track arrives from the store, then we've got a complete loop happening.

thanks,
michael (JITO)

Hi Michael,

Great to hear from you. Just sending out the invites now. Just sent you an email with the details. The rain has slowed me down here too. Go figure...just as I need the time to make everything pretty! It'll all work out I'm sure. Talk to you soon. Later eh...Brian.
