Super Chief Passenger Cars

Good Morning all...I was just reading the post of stupid thing we do and I can add my last stupid thing here...purchased a number of what looked like good condition Sante Fe streamliner passenger cars at a local hobby shop..these were used..but had good looking couplers and wheelsets etc..when put on my layout..wheels were all warped (think from heat all summer in store) and just a waste of my money....now my question

is the walthers super chief passenger line of cars worth the money?

are there any other mfgrs of passenger cars other then walthers?

I think that the cars i bought are old athern kits,,,any one know of wheelsets to replacce junk ones on these cars?
