Constant lighting for track bumpers

I have an Aristocraft bumper and the lights get brighter the more power I provide to the engine. I want to have the lights stay on the same intensity no matter what the track voltage is. I do not want to wire the bumpers separately I was thinking of adding a constant lighting circuit.

Does any one have any suggestions on how to wire the bumper for this to happen?

Herb;

Unless you go with some form of track powered R/C, I think you are going to experience the same problem.  When the power drops below a certain point, constant powered lights will shut down, either on or off.   When powering the bumper lights from the track, they will burn as bright as the power on the track.  I think you only have two options, 1) the expense of track powered R/C, or 2) direct wiring to the bumpers, (or attaching individual battery packs to the bumpers.)

I have experimented with using solar power for  lights - cheap garden solar lights provide the parts but its not easy to hide components unless incorporated into a building , also they will only work at night. On the plus side it means no  centralised wiring system

A most excellent idea, and Wal~Mart has them on clearance right now for $3.50 a light.
