I am try to view the beginners start here forum.  I notice a lock in the upper right hand corner of the page.  The lock is in the closed position.  Does that mean that I cannot view or post to that forum?

A lock means that you cannot post to a forum, but you should certainly be able to view it with no problem.

I'm just playing a bit... I'm trying to figure out how this forum software does message order.  Sometimes it seems new posts go to the top and other times it seems they stay where they are.  (Oh, and there are NO tabs in HTML.  This input box should not capture them!)
