Jack;

I have hooks at both ends of all my rolling stock as a standard thing but i do get disconnections from time to time, in very curvey parts of the track and where the camber isn't quite as good as it should be though.

However i had an unpleasant experience at the weekend. Had a major running day and got my "good" train out that only sees the light of day when i have visitors and out of 7 hooks 5 had springs with not enough tension to maintain a good connection.

these are expensive things; Golden Mountain coaches plus a an Alpine baggage car all pulled by a nearly new blue Crocodile.

i repeat i only get then out every three months or so, maybe thats the problem.

rgds ian
