Well I returned from school to find my railroad under a mountain of leaves. And wouln't you know it, my leaf blower will not start. If tried fresh gas/oil, the spark plug looks fine. Any ideas?

get a can of starting fluid, remove the air filter(if possible)  give a short spray and give a pull. it should start and run for a little until it burns it off.it will take a number of tries before the old gas/oil mix(mostly oil at this point) gets flushed through the carb and the new gas/oil mix makes its way in.After you get this running look for something sta-bil gas treatment.....

if this link doesn't work just search for "sta-bil" and see what the bottles look like.if you have a local wall-mart try them first..or home depot,menards,and lowes, they should have the starting fluid as well.

One other trick to try, if it is flooded, remove the spark plug and leave it out for several hours, that will allow the flooded gas to evaporate.

slightly off topic, does leaf blowers move everyone elses ballast around like mine does???  I havent tried the suction mode yet as I didnt want my ballast chewing up the machine if it has the same results that blowing does

If you're in too big a hurry to wait a few hours, just pull the cord a couple times, then put the plug back in.
