A friend of mine used extension cords for speaker wire extensions. After plugging a speaker, instead of the amplifier, into the wall socket he used decidedly different sockets and plugs for speaker wire extensions. <br /> <br />Learning a lesson the hard (and expensive) way. <br /> <br />Art
