I am sure a few people will miss me and even more will say good riddance,.

However the news is all good: iam off to Ireland today fora six week jaunt, including four days in Dubai on the way home

This is out fourth house swap and it is the way to go, get to see a lot of the world and meet distant people in their home environment all very cheaply.

Our last one was in Normandy in France with a four day stopover in Paris and i can tell you i think a lot more of the French and Parisians than i did before i got to know them.

The Guinness is always better closest to the source...enjoy !

Carefull with the wallet in Dubai, I hear its one of the priciest places on earth!
...and theres no Guinness, or any alcohol, allowed there.

   Have fun with your trains

No, but they have a neat indoor ski facility there, thanx to our gas dollars!

Ever wonder how they're gonna run those ice machines and refrigeration when the oil runs out or we stop buying from them?

Good luck, Ian. Do you need me to come and help you carry your bags?
