You could try Comstock Rails in Carson City, they have a small advert in the rear of Garden Railways magazine.

Usually have MDC bodies only but may be worth a try.

Check me if I'm wrong, but I believe MDC only made 2-bay hoppers. Bachmann makes a 3-bay hopper, if that's what you're looking for. The MDC hoppers haven't been produced in years, so good luck.

If its from MDC likely ebay is your only hope. Once MDC got sold, everything and I mean EVERYTHING dissappeared from sales lists and stuff started showing up on blowout lists, After that was sold off NADA ...its all gone! Even in the smaller scales its tougher to find anything now. Stupid and shortsighted move on Horizons part, MDCs stuff was one of the chief draws that got me into model RRs many moons ago

Thanks for the Info I went to storage unit today and after an hour of digging in 10X30 unit I found 0ne so it's a 2 bay hopper stock #G4204 S.P. they have been in a big box since 1995[:D][:D] I beleve they also made a short ore car to but that is not the one I need.

What happened to MDC? When did they make G scale stuff?

MDC had a small line of large scale from the early days (the mid 90's) till recently. They offered a terrific narrow gauge caboose and a few standard gauge freight cars, standard guage shorty ore cars and a powered "Big Hustler" critter locomotive. They were all discontinued when MDC was sold to a large distributor company (Horizon I beleive) back in early '95 and we havent seen hide nor hair of any reissues or new items for large scale since then.
