How do you restain your ties?

Do you brush on the oils or stains with a brush on each individual tie or just over the whole roadbed. I do not have a chemical sprayer so that option is out.

Doing each tie individually would be tedious IMO, esp. for O gauge.

Appreciate any tips.

I use a roller to apply the wood preservative, Rain and sun then peel the surplus of the track!

Dave,

A good sprayer sells for less than $20.00. Spraying is by far the easiest.

Dave, I would get one of those pump up garden sprayers that are sold for weeds. Clean it out afterwards and use it for other thing, like weeds, spraying house for fleas etc.
