[/quote] How did you adapt the Bachmann locomotive coupler to the AMS cars? My Consolidation's coupler is more than a full coupler's thickness below my AMS couplers. I have messed around with removing the top plate on the Bachmann coupler to raise it but that only brought it up to about 1/3 of the couplers joining and they won't hold together for very long.
