Fun, isn't it?

I've met several of the guys. I'm getting mixed on who is in which forum, but Marty Cozad comes to mind.

I haven't met any garden railroaders yet, but then I only just got into this hobby a few months ago.

Ray mate you are ahead of the game, not having met some of us. We are mainly pleasant freindly people but apart from that you would be better off as you are.

Anybody coming to Hawaii soon? It would be fun to meet others. We even have some 1:1 narrow gauge here!

Neiler mate;

I am thinking of visiting Hawaii and i wil look you up when i do if that ok, I have aready visited two forum members in England and it was a real treat both visits very different to each other but very good all the same. My wife and i got drunk at Kimbrits local pub.

We are house swappers and we are off to Ireland in June but are thinking of doing a house swap in Hawaii a lot of people from there want to come to The Sunshine Coast here in Queensland for a house swap, as well as Vancouver Island in Canada.

Brian you haven't been the same since your rabbit died, what about naming some names, a host of others don't mean a lot. I respect Old Dad quite a bit; we are in the same league, except he has a teenage daughter and i don't, so i guess i am ahead of him there.

As much as I'd like to visit down under, it would be fair to trade all our responsibilities here. We have dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, (and fish in the pond) to tend to. You're welcome to visit here though.

Ian.
As much as I admire the Kiwis for having the b***s to stand up for what they believe in politically, I am not from New Zealand.

I am an expatriate Brit who lives in Australia.

Nice to have met you at the Queensland show last weekend.

Best wishes,

Tony Walsham

Neil;

My wife and i do alot of house swapping and we are about to go on our 4 th one which is in Ireland and they have all been in Europe. We do want to go to Canada and Vancouver Island looks to be a good altrnative, however it is pretty expensive to get around as Canada is so big! We have been thinking about doing a "Cheepy" next year and just going to Hawaii.

However we had a reverse in that our shars are going down to do with commodity prices etc and unless they can get up to a certail level we will nort be going anywhere!
