John,Thank you for your post-however. <br />The idea is not to pretend that the garage floor is a garden/yard indoors,but to have a large scale layout around the wall about 4ft to 4ft6in above floor level similar to any other model railroad. The difference is the larger scale which brings constraints on how much can be modelled. <br />At the moment my garden (yard) is not suitable for an outdoor layout since it is a formal affair inside an old 19th century brick wall.It is the pride and joy of the domestic manager.
