Quite by accident I found the train wreck sound on my Mth -8 There were about
15 or so people watching at the time . They all started laughing when all the yelling for help started If you have never heard it you should listen to it some time I think some of the trainhead people are just sick( my self included he he)

you can rig some explosives like fireworks near the track and stage a derailment (I have DCS sounds as well and have heard the awful screams of the dead & dying)[:D]

Ian,
MTH has special sounds available with DCS in G and O gauges. It is a command control system, which, I might add, gets very tediuous at times to me, unless you quiet the chatter sounds and instead initiate the sounds yourself.
I'm thinking that DCS could be used as R/C in and of itself without any other system if you are able to put the electronics in a battery car; I yet may try this with my limited skills; someone versed in electronics would be able to do it quickly.

Jasher you have to have the MTH DCS system Soft keys ...............the code is in the instruction book, page 102 ( I think) THe code for the wreck is STW Each type of engine has it's own sound of a train wreck. I hope this helps
