Kim,
The London one has been on hold for about a month.I was worried about the length of it and the platforms. It just didn't 'look' right.(or left.Where's Tufty the road crossing squirrel when you need him)
Anyway, when my Dad came down I let him look over it and he came up with same thing without me mentioning it.I now have to cut the thing into 3 parts and put it back together.Deep joy.
I have the motor block left over from the whimsey build.I'm going to build a very old double deck open topper with it.Just need to find the right tram to model.
The main problem with a basic 4 wheel pickup is ----well,the 4 wheel pickup!
I prefer to use pickups on the trailing bogies or another motor to pull-push.It gets expensive with 2 motors but if it runs all day without mishap then it's worth it.
I did mean to ask before.Does your Scottish supplier chappie deal with the smaller Aristocraft motorised bogies (No ART 29356).They are like gold dust over here at the mo.
Good to have you back.I completely understand you staying in this section.I've been there once before if you remember.
Regards,Troy
