INstalling Aristocraft Brass track using the little screws is a little difficult outside. What I did was place a high power magnet on the little screw driver from an old computer disk drive, this provided enough magetism for the little screw to stay on so I could screw the joints together.
Worked like a champ!!!!

Am I wrong but aren't those screws stainless steel???????? It was stated as such on that other forum......

Apparently not a high grade of SS if they are magnetic

Yes, they are S.S. but there's enough other metal in them to stick to a strong magnet, beware though, they still fall off easy if you're not careful.

I take my track up and put it down quite a bit as I take my trains camping with me a lot
I got pertty good at puting those little screws in , then i started useing split jaws
much easiser ..............
