Iandor, a friend of mine had a quote similar to yours - ''Tis better to have - - etc.' - but 't'is a bit more punful: "'Tis better to have loved a short girl than to've never loved a tall!" <br /> <br />Being slightly short, i.e. vertically challenged, this has a heightened meaning. <br /> <br />And depending on your ethnicity, ignoring Troy could be the best course.
