Coach lighting

Hi guys,
I've just finished adding lighting to all of my stock that should be lit, I've used Massoth lighting boards which I find very effective and well made - I have to say I am not very electronically minded. I posted this yesterday elsewhere so apologies to anyone who's seen them.
I didn't order these, they came by mistake, but I thought I would use them. They are screwed to the clear plastic spacers that Bachmann use in their coaches.
The units all wired up and laid out
In the roof, all clipped in
The cables guided down the end walls and out of the way
Styrene strips used to keep the doors in place whilst it's re-assembled
The cables come between the floors and here the lugs for the LGB pick up axles have been soldered on
The LGB axle fited and the bogie back on with wires connected
And the lights shine. The railway post men can now work night shifts
Cheers,
Kim

Hi Kim
Something to think about.
Have you thought of using biro tubes, yes the ones that had ink in them
before you ask.
The use for them is to run the wire neatly down the corners of the coach where the wiring would be less obtrusive.
regards John

What a good idea John, never crossed my mind. I'm going to be buying the new Bachmann Rio Grande yellow coaches over the next few months so I'll certainly be using that idea.
Thanks,
Kim
