winter scenic landscape

Just started out with my new hobby but would like to make a winter display (with snow effect) can anyone give me a few tips thanks[:)]

Garden RR is not like the lesser, and normally indoor scales; You take the weather Mother Nature gives you and go with it!

If you are lucky enough to be able to do it indoors, go for it using those indoor items like they sell for HO and the like.

If you're going to do it outdoors, you'll have kids on ice skates in the winter and ladies in bikinis in the summer!

The bottom line if outdoors is "Don't mess with Mother Nature!"

You didn't say where you are. Perhaps you're in the northland? Just build your railroad outside and you'll have more snow effect than you ever expected[:D]

Now there is a guy who models wintertime on his indoor layout. When it's swealtering summer weather, you can get a chill just looking at his pictures. I can't be much more help as I model summertime.
