Tech Power Command Controller

I have a MRC, Power Command, Tech 3 controller. I am just getting into G scale. Will this controller be enough for a larger layout? Says it will work with N, HO, and G scale. Output is stated as Total Ouput, 19VA.

Might be a little light at 19VA. Should work for small locos moving slowly.
