Source/Method for Buffer and Chain couplers?
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, December 2, 2005 6:27 PM
I am looking at converting a Bachmann 45-tonner into a WWII Army standard gage engine used in Europe. I have looked for a supplier of buffer and chain couplers for use on the model, but haven't been able to find any. Does anyone make these, or does anyone know of a good method to make them from scratch?

Thanks.

Hi morianminer
do a web search
For
Garden Railway Specialists
Brandbright
Gauge Three Society
Gauge One Society
All of the above will be able to either supply or tell where to get
screw and three link couplings.
I have the sneaking suspicion you actually want a screw coupling rather than the 3 link chain coupling so double check before ordering any

Thanks, John. The screw couplers is actually what I was looking for. I really appreciate the help.
